During this WAI talk we actually want to discuss the WAI format and propose concrete alternatives that might suit the goal of the WAI better.
In our opinion, the goal of the WAI is to hear what collegeas are doing, to broaden the horizon of all attendees, to stimulate collaboration and to increase the knowledge of the AI specialist at the VU. However, we believe that the current format is not always meeting these goals because the attendance level is not always that high.
During this WAI, we would like to perform an online survey during the meeting, with the mentimeter tool, that will help us to give insight in the current satisfaction of the WAI meeting and possibly redefine or propose new goals that are not included in the current format. Thereafter, we would like to propose alternative formats to meet as many goals as set. But most importantly, we will vote and decide on the new format that will be activated immediately.
