Abstract |
Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs) are documents offering a series of recommendations intended to support clinicians in the different decisions (diagnostic and therapeutic) that arise during the healthcare encounters with the patients (and beyond). Due to their potential for improving healthcare through standardization and optimization, CPGs have attracted the attention of researchers in the Medical Informatics and AI in Medicine fields. In this short presentation, I will describe different research works carried out by the Knowledge Engineering group of Universitat Jaume I of Castellon (Spain), at the intersection of GPCs and Knowledge Representation. |
