Title What's a Like? query?
Abstract Not all information need can easily be answered using Google-like Information Retrieval approaches or SPARQL like data-base techniques. We believe that there is a potentially very useful type of queries that allow people to find sets of objects that are like a particular object they have in mind, queries we call Like? queries. I want to use this WAI presentation to study what people would expect from such Like? queries and present some initial ideas on how to define such queries more formally. This is joint work with Paul and Christophe.
