Title On Service Value Networks CompositionOn Service Value Networks Composition
Abstract The service sector has been experiencing an enormous growing in the last years, it encapsulates between 60% and 70% of most developed economies. This economic growth driver not only motivates manufacturing firms to transform their orientation from products to hybrid value creation through complementary services but also breaks existing product supply chains and transforms them into volatile service value networks (SVNs). In this talk, I’ll present a framework to semi-automatically compose SVNs based on the customer and the supplier perspectives. Our framework offers not only an interactive dialogue in which the customer can refine the composed SVNs but also visualizes the final composition. Finally, I would like to discuss with the audience about current issues regarding the composition of SVNs.
