Abstract My talk is about intelligent vehicles on highways, and how we can develop strategies for platooning on highways using multi-objective evolutionary optimisation. People have different objectives on highways (such as speed versus comfort), and we try to evolve vehicle controllers that each have a unique optimal combination of these objectives. This gives the driver on the highway the ability to choose between these controllers, based on personal preference.
