| Abstract |
In recent years, a number of new data management systems— regrouped under the NoSQL (for “not only SQL”) umbrella—rapidly rose to prominence and represent today a popular alternative to classical databases. In this talk I'll explain why we chose HBase as a backend for storing RDF at scale, what schema are we using, bulk loading strategy and layer for SPARQL querying. I'll also present the comparative evaluation we realized for ISWC with other 4 NoSQL systems. Finally, I'll talk about future directions for this research. |
