This talk will be a rehearsal for my talk at ICT.Open 2013. The contents of the talk: online cultural heritage collections can be difficult to access. This is often due to the direct translation of collection management system data to metadata for accessing online objects and the missing narrative which is normally provided by curators in museum. By linking the available data to entities in the Linked Data cloud, rich new sources of information and relations are added. We use these relations to find paths between objects, thereby creating semantic clusters of search results. In the SEALINCMedia project the clusters help to support external experts in annotating objects of the Rijksmuseum. |
