Title Developing a physician facing contextualisation application for the EURECA project
Abstract One of the goals of the EURECA project is the integration of patient data with open data to enhance answering queries of healthcare professionals. In this talk we describe our working definition of contextualisation, and how we apply it in medical reasoning. We compare our application of contextualisation to the descriptions of contextualisation found in the literature, and discuss how they relate to each other. We define several use cases for which we have developed contextualisation algorithms. We present a small number of contextualized queries, developed for use cases based on real world requirements from MAASTRO clinical trial coordinators. We also present a theoretical model on which we intend to base future development.
