| Abstract |
In this presentation , I will present a neurological inspired cognitive computational model of monitoring and decision mechanism for selection (activation) of emotion regulation strategies. as Emotional Dysregulation (ED) is also one of the major factor that leads to various emotional/ mental disorders like. depression, anxiety , poor apatite, sleep disorder, etc. and psychiatrist often suggest/ use emotional focused therapies (EFT) to make patients emotionally stable. Model includes monitoring and decision mechanism with three regulation strategies namely expressive suppression, cognitive reappraisal (reinterpretation) and situation modification. A model like this may useful to provide a basis for application domains concerning emotional control, and simulations for clinical disorders and therapies for them. |
