Title A Computational Model for the Effect of Group Support on Recovery of Traumatized Patients
Abstract The classic approach to recovery traumatized patients is through the individual therapy. In recent years the group therapy gains importance as another option of treatment. Its benefit is not clear yet due many aspects involving social groups and specific patterns developed by traumatized patients, as well as few data available to be analysed. Due to scarcity of data, simulation becomes an important tool in this research area. The patient`s patterns are clear and can be simulated in computers. This presentation will show a model for simulate traumatized patients and their reactions when connected in groups.
