| Abstract | here was much fuss about the Robot Baby Project in the Dutch media and via TechCrunch the news went international as well. http://techcrunch.com/2016/05/31/robots-date-mate-and-procreate-3d-printed-offspring-in-robot-baby-project/ The Robot Baby Movie gained 30 thousand views on the VU/Science youtube channel in just a week and a half, which is probably an all time high. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BfcVSb-Q8ns In this talk I will reflect on the project, discussing the scientific, technical, as well as promotional aspects - the good, the bad, and the ugly. |
