Description
Title | Smart Ward |
Abstract | SmartWard is a joint research project between VU and BJUT (Beijing University of Technology), funded by both universities (2016-2020) and China Foundation of Natural Science (2015-2019). The objective of this project is to develop a knowledge-based platform/system which can be used for monitoring and analyzing patient status and supporting for clinical decision making in a psychiatric ward. The experiments of Smart Ward have been carried on in a ward of Beijing Anding Hospital, one of the biggest psychiatric hospitals in China. In this talk, we will present some ongoing work of the SmartWard project. In particular we will show how to use wearable devices to monitor patients of depression, and how to build knowledge graphs of depression for clinical decision making. |
