Title Structure of Ontology Networks and its Evolution Cost
Abstract In this presentation, I will analysis the character of large-scale ontology networks, including degree distribution,clustering coefficient,shape, importance of nodes, shortest path distribution of Ontology networks, etc. This is the first main part of my dissertation from perspective of ontology concept nodes and relations elements. In the second part, I put forward a new method to carry out modularization operation on Gene Ontology from view of network. This is a larger perspective than the first part. It is more macro from the perspective of ontology evolution to observe ontology. In the last part, I constructs a cost model of ontology evolution which consists of ontology structure cost and application cost to measure ontology evolution operation cost.
