Abstract |
This presentation aims to discuss and present some preliminary results of a data analysis in a data set of children from schools in the Netherlands. The health aspects of the lifestyle of kids has became a major concern in the recent years, as they build habits that might influence them for the rest of their lives. As it is known, friends and family are very relevant as they influence children in their eating behavior, physical activity and even in their self-esteem. Using a model of spread of behavior, we try to define how to influence a social network so we can bring benefits to the whole group of kids and provide a better environment for e healthier lifestyle. |
