Title : Tight integration of space and semantics in SWI-Prolog

Presenter Willem van Hage
Abstract In my previous WAI talk I announced that I started developing spatial indexing in SWI-Prolog. This time I will show the first running demo of the SWI-Prolog space package, which provides indexing of points on the globe and non-deterministic nearest-neighbor, containment, and intersection queries. I will go into detail about what kind of interaction between space and semantics this allows.

Title : Towards fully automated psychotherapy for adults: BAS, Behavioral Activation Scheduling via web and mobile phone

Presenter Fiemke Both
Abstract In my talk, I will present a new unguided intervention for depression via the web and mobile phone. The intervention is based on activity scheduling, a therapy that has been proven to be very successful. The new intervention called BAS (Behavioral Activity Scheduling) is different from the original intervention in two ways. First, BAS is offered via a website and a mobile phone program. Second, BAS is an unguided version of the therapy with automated feedback and reminders. We have just finished a first pilot study with a small group of VU students. I will present some preliminary results of this study.
