Title : An Adaptive Multi-Agent Model for Dynamics of Emotion Contagion in Groups

Presenter Muhammed Umair
Abstract In my talk a multi-agent model is presented that can simulate emotion contagion processes within groups. The obtained dynamical multi-agent model is integrated with the environment in an adaptive manner by use of specific characteristics of a group’s emotion contagion. The model dynamically adapts the values of these parameters to the characteristics of the group.

Title : Adaptive Sensor Systems

Presenter Willem van Willigen
Abstract This talk is intended as a high-level overview of different application areas in which adaptive sensor systems can be implemented. We discuss 3 application domains: Safety, military and mobility. For each of these application domains an example is discussed of an adaptive sensor system. In the safety domain, we discuss a system for dynamic evacuation routing. In the military domain, we discuss a system for adaptive UAV path planning. We also present some experimental results for this system. Finally, in the mobility domain, we discuss platooning as an example application.
